The Fifth IEEE Annual International Smart Cities Conference (ISC2 2019) will be held in Casablanca, Morocco during October 14 – 17, 2019. As the flagship conference sponsored by the IEEE Smart Cities Technical Community that is a coalition of six IEEE technical societies and organizations, ISC2-2019 will bring together researchers and practitioners in a collaborative smart cities discussion, including scholars, citizens, policymakers, administrators, infrastructure operators, industry representatives, economists, sociologists, and academicians. Technical exchanges within the research community will encompass panels, plenary talks, technical sessions, tutorials, workshops and exhibitions. The conference theme is: Frugality and Inclusion paving the way towards Future Smart Sustainable Cities & Communities.

Manuscripts in PDF format must be electronically submitted for peer-review at https://edas.info/N25795

Choose the submission type most appropriate for your current work: Full Paper (6 pages), Short Paper (4 pages), or an extended abstract (1 page).

Technical information

Prospective authors are encouraged to contribute high-quality original full papers to this conference. The papers should be original contribution written in English and formatted according to IEEE Template. Conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 program committee members.The overall Best Paper and Best Student Paper Awards will be given and recognized during the conference. Recommendation of the Best Papers to Corresponding Journals including IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, African cities Journal,…. Authors will be asked to extend and revise their papers and submit them to review process according to the standards of journals.
